Vitamin E Producers and Vitamin E Market Trend
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin with free radical scavenging, anti-cancer, anti-cardiovascular disease, immunity-boosting and anti-aging effects. Its hydrolysis product is tocopherol, which is one of the most important antioxidants. Vitamin E is divided into natural vitamin E and synthetic vitamin E. Natural vitamin E is mainly found in seeds of oil crops and vegetable oils such as soybean oil, corn oil and canola oil. Synthetic vitamin E is usually obtained by the alkylation-condensation reaction of 2,3,5-trimethylhydroquinone (TMHQ) and isophytol (IP).
