Power Semiconductors Producers and Power Semiconductors Market Trend

Date : 2022-05-31 Reading : 576

Power semiconductors are the core of electrical energy conversion and circuit control in electronic devices, and typical power processing functions include frequency conversion, voltage conversion, current conversion, power amplification and power management, etc. They are the bridge between weak power control and strong power operation. In addition to ensuring the normal operation of equipment, power semiconductor devices also play an effective role in energy saving. Power semiconductors can be divided into two categories: power ICs and power discrete devices, of which power discrete devices mainly include diodes, thyristors, transistors and other products.

The global power semiconductors market size was USD 35.2 billion in 2017, growing to USD 40.6 billion in 2022, with a CAGR of 2.9% from 2017 to 2022. The global power semiconductors market size is expected to grow to USD 46.4 billion in 2027, with a CAGR of 2.7% from 2022 to 2027.
